Our History

Over 30 Years of Trusted Manufacturing in Western Australia.

What began as a small fabrication business has evolved into a leading provider of heavy steel fabrication and engineered manufacturing solutions, serving clients across mining, construction, energy, and infrastructure sectors. From day one, we’ve been driven by a “can-do” culture and a hands-on approach that puts our clients first.

While we’ve grown significantly over the years, our commitment remains the same: to go the extra mile, adapt to our clients’ needs, and provide solutions that stand the test of time. We’re proud of our history and even more excited about what lies ahead.

1995

Rollwell Engineering is founded in Kwinana as a small, family-run fabrication business, servicing Perth’s mining and oil & gas sectors with a hands-on, performance-focused approach.

1998

Growing demand prompts a move to larger premises in Kwinana, allowing us to expand our team and client base.

2005

We double the size of our workshop and increase hardstand space, boosting our capacity to deliver larger and more complex fabrication and assembly projects.

2012

In-house design and detailing capabilities are introduced, enabling end-to-end project delivery and fully customised fabrication solutions.

2013

ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation is achieved, formalising our commitment to quality across all operations.

2018

Rollwell is acquired by Future Engineering and Communications. Long-time employee Tyler Keeping becomes part-owner and is appointed Managing Director.

Under Tyler’s leadership, design and engineering capabilities are further developed, and field services are expanded to include site installation and commissioning.

2019

We implement a fully Integrated Management System (IMS), achieving ISO certifications for quality, safety, and environmental management—strengthening our operational standards and client assurance.

2024

Rollwell Engineering becomes part of Tasmea Limited, joining a national network of specialised service providers. This acquisition strengthens our ability to scale, collaborate, and deliver even greater value to our clients across Australia while continuing to operate with the same local leadership and commitment to quality we’re known for.
